An automatic transfer switch is sold separately, but it is an integral part of your Kohler® generator. With an automatic transfer switch, your Kohler® standby generator provides backup power in just 10 seconds after an outage. No need to manually start your generator or fill it with gas. Just sit back, relax and wait for the power to come back on.
Your authorized Kohler® dealer will help you choose the right automatic transfer switch for your system.
* Some individual needs may require a much more expensive Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS). We will be able to advise well when estimating the work.
